In short: we collect little, we use it to build your design, and we never sell it.
Presence is a product of Waypoint Agency, a trade name of STATENWEB LLC (“we” and “us”), 52 Bache Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306.
What we collect
- From the form: your organization’s name, your website or Google listing, your name and your email.
- From public sources: before we contact an organization, we may design a new website from public information about it. That can include its website, Google listing, photos, reviews, address, phone number and email address.
- From you: anything you tell us by email or phone.
- Technical data: our host, Cloudflare, may log your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect this site. The analytics and ad tools below also collect the pages you view, how you arrived, and your device and browser type.
Analytics and ads
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which runs two tools to measure visits and our marketing.
- Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tools to count visits, see which pages people view and how they arrived, and count form sign-ups.
- The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) counts visits and form sign-ups. Meta may also use this to show our ads to people who visited this site, and to measure whether those ads worked. When you send the form, we also pass Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, so it can match your sign-up to its records and measure our ads. A hash is a code that cannot be read back, but Meta can compare it with the emails it already has. Under some state laws, that counts as “sharing” information for advertising.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not run other social media tracking.
Browsers also have a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no common standard for it, so we do not change anything when we see it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel never load.
Your privacy choices
You can turn off Google Analytics and Meta Pixel tracking in this browser right here. Your choice stays until you clear this site’s data.
Spam protection
The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It loads a script from Cloudflare and checks signals from your browser, such as how it behaves and what kind of device it is. We use it only to protect the form, and it still runs if you opt out of tracking above, because it protects the form and does not track you for ads.
How we use it
We use what you send in the form to build your new design, send you the link, and reply to you. We use public information about an organization to design its new website and to contact it. If you sign up, we also use your information to run your service under your agreement.
Who sees it
- People at Waypoint Agency who build designs and talk with customers.
- Service providers that help us run Presence: Formspark receives form submissions, Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the spam check on the form, and Google runs our email. If you sign up, our payment provider handles card payments.
- Google and Meta, which receive the data their tools collect (see Analytics and ads).
- Anyone the law requires us to tell.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to build your design, talk with you and keep records of our work. If you sign up, your agreement says more. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Asking us about your information
Email us at [email protected] and we will act on your request promptly. You can ask us to:
- tell you what we have about you
- correct or delete it
- take down a design of your organization
- stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights. Ask us and we will tell you.
Children
This site is for the people who run nonprofits and foundations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use trusted providers and limit who can see your information. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
